RHEINTON & The Moveable Feasters invite you to “On Cloud Wine!”, a special evening celebrating Romanian wines and open-fire cuisine at the renowned Rheinton wine bar. Together with owner Binali, we have prepared a flavorful night where carefully selected wines from Romania take center stage—accompanied by culinary delights cooked over an open flame.

Wine and Gourmet Journey to Romania

The trip leads to Bucharest and the wine region of Dealu Mare. Part of the program includes visits to selected wineries with tastings of Romanian wines, as well as culinary experiences in renowned gourmet restaurants in Bucharest. A Toast to Beauty!

“A Toast to Beauty” was a special evening dedicated to celebrating beauty, friendship, womanhood, and life. The event marked the opening of Mara Ästhetik and brought together guests for an inspiring gathering where conversations about beauty naturally flowed—accompanied, of course, by a glass of sparkling wine.

The evening explored the many meanings of beauty: confidence, connection, and the freedom to pursue one’s dreams. Guests shared a moment to celebrate friendship and the different roles that shape our lives—whether as friends, daughters, mothers, or sisters.

In a warm and elegant atmosphere, the event combined meaningful conversation with carefully selected wines, creating a space where beauty could be appreciated not only as an aesthetic ideal, but also as a way of living and connecting with others.

Romania in the glas and on the plate

Our event “Romania in a Glass & on a Plate” was a resounding success, taking our guests on a flavorful journey through the richness of Romanian wine and culinary culture.

For the fish course, we served a Zghihară de Huși, a fresh and lively white wine with a stimulating acidity. The classic Sarmale were paired with an elegant rosé blend, whose delicate fruit and freshness beautifully complemented the spice of the dish. For the grill mix, we presented a Fetească Neagră with strong character—powerful, spicy, yet balanced—a true flagship of Romanian red wines. The evening concluded with an unexpected sweet wine alongside Grandma’s cheesecake, whose subtle sweetness and aromatic depth created a truly memorable tasting moment.

The night was filled with curious questions, lively conversations, and consistently enthusiastic feedback—a wonderful sign that Romania as a wine country is continually waiting to be rediscovered.

Dry January is done, time for Romanian wine fun!

On February 6th, we welcomed our guests with the theme “Dry January is done – Time for Romanian Wine Fun!” – and the name truly said it all. Wine lovers from eleven nations came together to celebrate the first sip after a month without alcohol – with wines that tell stories.

From finely sparkling wines to elegant whites and expressive reds, Romania revealed its impressive diversity throughout the evening.

But the night was about more than what was in the glass. It was about connection, about exchange between people from different cultures, about discovering and enjoying together.

The Ambrozijn Experience

Our first Moveable Feast in the Netherlands marked a special milestone for us. Set within the breathtaking surroundings of Restaurant Ambrozijn, this intimate evening brought together a small circle of true food lovers. Exceptional cuisine, a beautifully restored historic church, and a shared passion for gastronomy combined to create an experience that will stay with us long after the last course.

During an exclusive Romanian wine tasting at Restaurant Bukarest in Krefeld, our guests explored a fascinating and often overlooked wine culture. A curated selection of Romanian wines – from traditional-method sparkling wine to expressive indigenous grape varieties – was perfectly paired with authentic Romanian dishes. An evening defined by discovery, elegance, and shared passion for wine.
